Frequently asked questions
About the cushions, the battery, the prices and the trial.
How long does a heated seat cushion stay warm?
On the highest setting (45 degrees), a full battery gives up to 8 hours of warmth. On a lower setting the battery lasts longer. Enough for a whole afternoon and evening.
How do I charge the cushions?
The battery clicks out of the cushion. After closing time you place the batteries in the charging station; by the next morning they are full. One charging station holds ten batteries.
Can the cushions withstand rain?
Yes. The Olefin and Paris cushions have a waterproof TPU coating and dry quickly. You take the battery out for charging. Sheepskin is intended for covered areas or dry weather.
Can the cushions be made to measure?
Yes. Besides the three standard models, we make every heated cushion to measure: any size and shape, including for lounge sofas, corner benches and round benches. You choose the fabric and colour, have your logo printed or embroidered, and can even customise the label with the logo on the back. For this we work with a large, reliable manufacturer that has been making custom cushions for twenty years.
What does a heated seat cushion cost?
With the heat agreement you pay a one-off deposit per cushion (€ 50 for Olefin and Paris, € 60 for Sheepskin) and then € 5 per cushion per month. For every ten cushions you add one charging station at € 200. All prices exclude VAT. Buying outright is also possible; request a quote.
Do you also supply chairs?
Yes. We supply the chair the cushion fits perfectly: the classic rattan bistro chair for the Paris cushion and a straight chair of 45 × 45 cm for Olefin and Sheepskin. A chair costs € 50, one-off and excluding VAT. This is also possible with the heat agreement.
What is included in the heat agreement?
The battery, service and warranty: on-site inspection and replacement in case of wear or defects. You pay monthly per cushion. The term is 36 months, with a minimum of 10 cushions.
Can I try it first?
Yes. You can try the cushions free of charge for a month, with up to 10 cushions. Then the choice is yours: continue, or we collect the cushions again.
Is a gas heater still allowed on my terrace?
That depends on the municipality. There is no national ban, but more and more municipalities restrict gas-fired patio heating. Eindhoven has banned gas heaters on terraces since 1 November 2024. Check the terrace rules or the local bylaws (APV) of your municipality.
